Once I met a Pearl merchant in Bahrain , he had good quality of pearls in his hand, i ask price of them , It was so much more than I thought .I ask him "Why are Pearl so expensive ?" He took a pearl in his bag with a small smile and placed it in my right hand and then said " Check out this Pearl"

Natural Pearl :- Natural Pearls are extremely rare, mostly found from Gulf ocean, unfortunately , today , most have already been harvested. Natural Pearl are produced without human intervention. A Natural Pearl is formed when an irritant maybe its a grind of sand or a small creature accidentally gets into the soft tissue of the mussel in an oyster. As a defense mechanism, the oyster produces secretions to coat the irritant. many layers of coating are deposited on the irritant, making the irritant smooth. A natural pearl is thus born.
Cultured Pearl:- A Cultured Pearl is formed in the same process as like natural pearl , but its's only difference cultured Pearl produced by an oyster or mollusk with help by a mussel farmer or oyster farmer under controlled conditions. The Pearl farmers physically inserting an irritant inside the soft tissue of the oyster. From there, the layers of Nacre are formed naturally, just like with natural Pearls. Japan is started first Cultured Pearl farming in 1916 . developed by "Mikimoto Kōkichi ". Of course , the jeweler will suggest that buy an Expensive Pearl . If i choose an expensive pearl , it does not have to be high quality . Choosing a good quality of peal its can be very difficult task. quality of a Pearl is depends so many factors ; there are Five primary factors ,.that Pearl are Judged by Luster Quality, Shape of Pearl , Size, color , Pearl's surface , Pearl nacre .
First one Pearl's Luster : - The First and most important factor in determining the quality of a Pearl is its Luster. normally the lowest luster Pearl are consider as low quality of Pearl and higher luster Pearl consider as high quality pearl. If the Nacre is thick , then the pearl will have a high luster quality. contrarily if the nacre is thin then this will result in poor .
