  • Persentage Base Making Charges:

Making charges are calculated as a percentage of the gold’s cost.

Example: If the gold costs ₹50,000 and making charges are 10%, the making charge will be ₹5,000.

  • Fixed Making Charges:

A fixed amount is charged regardless of the gold weight or cost.

Example: You pay ₹1,000 as making charges, no matter the gold weight or price.

  • Per Gram Making Charges:

Making charges are based on the weight of the jewelry.

Example: If the charge is ₹300 per gram and the jewelry weighs 10 grams, the making charge will be ₹3,000.

  • Additional Purity-Based Making Charges:

If the gold’s purity is adjusted (e.g., calculated on a higher purity than the actual), additional charges are added.

Example: If the making charges are calculated based on a purity of 0.936 instead of 0.916, an extra charge for the difference in purity is added.

  • Percentage-Based Gold Loss during Crafting:

Gold loss during crafting is calculated as a percentage of the total gold weight.

Example: If the loss is 3% on 10 grams of gold, the lost amount will be 0.3 grams.

  • Gram-Based Gold Loss during Crafting:

Gold loss is considered as a fixed number of grams, regardless of the percentage.

Example: If 0.5 grams of gold is lost during crafting, it's subtracted from the total weight.
